A detailed look at
Louverdrape vertical blinds

The original Louverdrape can be guaranteed to function impeccably for at least ten years. As a result of the cleverly devised technical details operating in close harmony.

Here we show you some of these details that will enable you to recognise the original Louverdrape. And they will help you to establish whether you are dealing with the original or with a superficial Louverdrape look-alike.

The original Louverdrape is attached to a specially designed, slender, elegant rail (1) of mat-finished aluminium. A small but sturdy, stylish chain (2) serves to adjust the position of the slats. Opening and closing is done by means of a continuous cord from which hangs a weight (3) covered by a case of synthetic fibre.

The original Louverdrape versions that consist of impregnated slats of fabric can also be recognised by the invisible metal ballast weights (4) tucked away in the hem and by the thin connecting chains. These ensure that the lightweight fabric slats always retain their perfect vertical position.
